Pleasanton在湾区排名前列的优质学区
普莱森顿联合学区（Pleasanton Unified School District）有15所学校，2013年学区的API是910分。Pleasanton各所学校的评分都在9分以上，其中Pleasanton Middle School 10分，Harvest Park Middle School 10分。
Amador Valley High School 10分、Foothill High School 10分。Amador Valley高中，2013年API为897分，亚裔为954分；Foothill高中在2013年API为871分，亚裔虽占不到1/3，但API高达934分。
很多学校都获得过加州杰出学校California Distinguished School 和全美蓝带学校 National Blue Ribbon School 奖。全美蓝带学校奖由美国国家教育部从全国范围内评选出学术表现优异或取得重大进步的公立学校及私立学校。蓝带学校是美国中小学能获得的最高荣誉。取得这项荣誉的学校相当于中国的全国重点。
Pleasanton的两所高中非常有名，Foothill High School和Amador Valley High School 就都被评为加州杰出学校，还拥有“国家蓝带学校”的荣誉。
近几年华人迁入普莱森顿市越来越多，大多是看重Pleasanton的教育品质及较高房产性价比。
由于刚性需求的存在，学区房由于受楼市影响很小，因而保值增值能力出众。即使在2008年金融危机时期，学区房的价格也没有受当时房市跳水的影响。目前，旧金山湾区存在教育资源的分布和分配方式不均衡的现象。
学区房资源有限，这也是造成其价格居高不下的原因之一。同时随著硅谷高科技公司的发展和就业的增加，涌入硅谷的年轻人越来越多。所以未来孩子也会越来越多，学区房的需求也越来越旺盛。供求不均衡的局面逐渐增大。然而学区房会越来越稀缺，所以价格也是会可以预见的水涨船高。
人口构成
全市第二大族裔，亚裔中华裔居多。家庭平均年收入为全加州中位数的2倍。在2020年美国着名的“富士比财富”评比中，Pleasanton被列为全美国平均年收入最高的前十名城市之一。2014 年，Pleasanton 被评为全美最适合居住的 50 个城市前 5 名，财富杂志Forbes将其选入全国好家乡。Pleasanton之所以被评为宜居城市，是因为治安好，犯罪案件很少。
根据2019年人口普查，Pleasanton总人口为 81794 人， 有28994 户家庭， 住房总数为30391 ， 白人比例50.07%, 亚裔比例34.15%， 黑人比例1.79%， 美洲原住民比例0.28%， 平均年龄42.1岁， 移民人口比例33.6%， 本科以上学历人口比例66.4%， 硕士以上学历人口比例29.83%， 家庭年平均收入为$156,063.00， 有4.85% 人口收入位于贫困线以下， 房屋平均价格为$1,087,700.00。
Pleasanton悠闲的生活
在日常生活方面，附近有三个大华超市、两家Costco，多家超市开车都在5到15分钟之内，还有众多华人圈著名的餐馆，比如说上海菜、湖南菜、素食馆等，还有川菜味道成都China Lounge。前几年开业的东方明珠广场内餐厅、超市等。
Pleasanton有著名的超级购物中心Stoneridge Mall、阿拉梅达县（Alameda）大型文化展览贸易中心、梅西百货（Macy’s）。从Pleasanton开车11分钟就能去到旧金山奥特莱斯（San Francisco Premium Outlets）。
普莱森顿市非常适合家庭居住。整个城市公园随处可见。历史悠久的小镇风貌和围绕小镇主题设计的一系列家庭活动是吸引很多家庭到这里安家的原因之一。
Pleasanton便利的交通
普莱森顿(Pleasanton)交通便利，有地铁捷运车站（BART），高速580和680，离奥克兰机场车程二十多分钟；坐地铁可以快速便捷到达旧金山。
而苹果（Apple）、谷歌（Google）、Facebook、LinkedIn、微软、YouTubeADP，AT＆T、雪佛龙、特斯拉汽车（Tesla）等大企业离Pleasanton市也就是10至25英里左右。大多公司在Pleasanton都设有班车，就算开车通勤，无论是公路580，还是680，进出很方便，不堵车半小时，堵车一小时。
市内有两个Bart站，分别是West Dublin / Pleasanton和Dublin / Pleasanton，不少旧金山等区域上的居民，可以选择开车到Bart站停车场，再坐车去旧金山上班。
Pleasanton的经济和就业
Pleasanton市内的Hacienda商业园区（Hacienda Business Park）一带，集中了很多大中型企业，包括：甲骨文（Oracle）、爱立信（Ericsson）、Kaiser Permanente、SAP、 Workday、 Clorox、辛普森制造（Simpson Manufacturing）、EMC、Veeva、Hendrick Automotive、Roche Molecular Systems、Thoratec、Thermo Fisher Scientific等。
随着硅谷地价的上涨，很多计算机、生技医药和风险投资企业把公司转移到东湾，或者加大了对三谷地区包括Pleasanton市的投资，加速近年来Pleasanton的经济快速发展。Pleasanton的居民就业充分，失业率极低。
Pleasanton的区域划分和高端社区
普莱森顿市的高档社区有Ruby Hill，Golden Eagle Estate 和Castlewood Country Club 等。走在这几个社区里，你会发现建筑风格各异，每一栋房子都按主人的喜好需求量身设计建造，绝不重复。价格从2百万美元左右到7百多万美元一栋不等。社区内一般有高尔夫球场，俱乐部和葡萄园等为住户提供社交机会，并常有婚礼在这里举行。
